My name is Nadine. I graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In May 2025, I completed my Master of Arts in Ministry. RHM ministers to women and men with past hurts that lead them to cover those hurts with everything but the one Person who can heal those hurts. I have supported RHM for years through prayer, physical support, and financially. This ministry is close to my heart because of the changed lives that occur when an individual gives their life to Jesus the Christ who heals all hurts in order that they may then disciple others into the saving, healing relationship with their Creator. Being a part of RHM is an incredible opportunity to be a part of women and men’s lives who desire freedom through their saving and growing relationship with Jesus.

My name is April. I was a resident in the RHM program from 03/28/23 through 04/21/24. During my time in the program, I saw how the Resident Coordinators (RCs) were so busy with all of the responsibilities of caring for the residents. Near the end of my time in the program, I told Mrs. Sara, “One day, I will come back and help her in the same way she helped me.” In November of 2024, seven months after graduating, Mrs. Theresa approached me to ask if I would be interested in a position with RHM. After praying about it, I began working at RHM on December 1st, 2024, in a part time position as RC. In January 2025, I moved to working full-time as a RC. I accepted the position as an RC at RHM because I knew I wanted to give back to the staff for all the love and support they had given me. I wanted to continue to help future residents at RHM.

My name is CynthiaMarie. I met Mrs. Theresa at Faith Family Church in a celebrate recovery class that she was leading at the time. Mrs. Theresa told me about RHM; and I asked her how I could get involved. She let me know that for $10/month I could be part of 1,000 Strong. I liked what I heard, so I signed up immediately. Soon I wanted to do more, so I began working as a Resident Coordinator. I’ve worked every shift at one time or another through the years. I took a break for a little while, but the Lord then put it on my heart that I could help once again. Helping direct the women have a heart for God, become more like His son Jesus Christ, and learn basic life skills, is a joy and all for the glory of the Lord.

My name is Michelle (Shelly) Gerard. I am the General Store Manager at RHM Gleanings Resale Shop. I have over twenty-five years of retail and customer service experience. I also have more than eight years of managerial experience. I came to Gleanings in February 2024, after working for over four years for a major retail corporation. I finally feel like I have a purpose in my line of work. The positive impact we have on people’s lives every day gives my life a sense of meaning. It is a joy to be able to give back to my childhood community. I am truly blessed to be a part of RHM.

My name is Ana. I am an Internal Medicine Physician. I was blessed to come to RHM after retiring from the medical field. I came to Victoria after retiring to care for my parents. My mother passed away on March 3, 2023, but I am blessed to still have my dad. I began working at RHM Gleanings Resale Shop where I help all those who walk in the store feel welcomed and loved. Our Showers of Grace provide a free place for the homeless population to take a shower, get a free change of clothes, and be prayed over. The homeless people who come to use our shower have become my family, whom I care for very much. RHM is close to my heart as I have family members who have struggled with addictions. That is why I show the love of Jesus to everyone who walks in the door.

My name is Raymond. I have called Victoria, Texas home since I was three years old. I love our small-town Crossroads community and the sense of connection that comes with it. In 2021, I began working at RHM Gleanings Resale Shop. After taking a break for a little while I returned to Gleanings and I can honestly say I’m enjoying every moment. I deeply believe in the mission and vision of RHM—both at the Men & Women’s Home and at Gleanings. I have a heart for men to experience true restoration, healing, renewing, and being set free through the power of Christ Jesus. Being part of a ministry that helps transform lives and brings hope to others is something I’m truly grateful for.
